SLC County restaurant employee arrested after stealing a customers wallet then using credit card

St.Lucie County, Fl (treasurecoast.com)- A SLC County restaurant employee was arrested after stealing a customers wallet then using a credit card.

This is what happened:

Jennifer Marie Mohamed, 40, of Port St. Lucie, was arrested after store security footage showed her using a stolen credit card at two local businesses. That card belonged to a customer of a restaurant where Mohamed worked as a cashier and waitress.
The victim told deputies that he noticed his wallet was missing after dining at a local restaurant. He immediately contacted the bank to cancel his credit cards. A short time later, the victim noticed two unauthorized charges on one of his cards, one at a retail shop, the other at a gas station.
St. Lucie County Sheriff’s detectives were able to obtain store surveillance footage that showed Mohamed using the stolen card. The victim positively identified Mohamed and told detectives that she was his waitress. Mohamed confessed to the crimes and was charged with larceny and fraud.
Mohamed was released from the St. Lucie County Jail on a $6,500.
