Did you know there is a shipwreck off the coast at House of Refuge?
Where are they today? Florida Family Insiders are on an exciting adventure at the House of Refuge. Just 100 yards offshore lies the wreck of the Georges Valentine. Travel by drone above the rocky cliffs and blue sea, and learn the history of the Georges Valentine shipwreck from so many years ago.

Teaching Our Kids to be Community Helpers with the St Lucie County Beach Basket Program!
A mini-adventure by Florida Family Insiders
Where are they today? Florida Family Insiders are at Dollman Beach in St Lucie County, doing their part for Earth Day 2022. It looks like the Insider Kids are having a blast being young stewards of this beach environment. While they’re working hard doing their part as community helpers with the Beach Basket Program, it’s not all work and no play. There’s plenty of time for fun in the sun, and I’d say these enthusiastic and energetic kids are experts at fun!

About Alligator Reef Lighthouse
Alligator Reef Lighthouse is considered one of the best diving and snorkeling locations in all the Florida Keys. Back in 1825, while on a mission against pirates on the coast of Islamorada, the USS Alligator sank in shallow water. To prevent the 86-foot longship from being salvaged by the pirates, the crew blew her up and she landed in two pieces on the ocean floor. This was the beginning of the great coral reef that is now home to over 500 species of marine life.
