PSLPD is Investigating the Death of 2 Individuals

Port St.Lucie, Fl (treasurecoast.com)- The Port St.Lucie Police are reporting that they are investigation the death of two people.

This is what they said:

On July 5, 2022 at 5:48pm, the Port St. Lucie Police Department responded to the 1700-Blk of SW Apache Ave in reference to a welfare check. An individual called 911 after receiving concerning information about two individuals that reside together at this residence.
Officers made multiple unsuccessful attempts to contact the involved individuals. Members of the PSLPD SWAT Team responded and made forced entry into the residence. Officers found a 33-year-old woman deceased from an apparent gunshot wound and a 36-year-old man, identified as the victim’s boyfriend, deceased from what appears to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Detectives and the Crime Scene Unit responded to investigate further and process the scene. If you have information relevant to this investigation, please contact the Criminal Investigations Division at 772-871-5001. This is an isolated domestic incident and PSLPD is not looking for any outstanding individuals. There is no threat to the community.
