Port St. Lucie City Council to discuss the Solid Waste Request for Proposals

What: A Special City Council meeting regarding the Solid Waste Request for Proposals (RFP).

When: Wednesday, April 27, 2022, at 4 p.m.

Where: City Council Chambers at City Hall, 121 SW Port St. Lucie Blvd. The meeting also will be aired live on PSL TV Channel 20 on Comcast and Blue Stream Fiber and Channel 99 on U-Verse. It also will air live on the City’s Facebook page @CityofPSL.

Why: City Council will receive an update from the City Manager on the results of the solid waste Request for Proposals (RFP). They will also review the RFP evaluation committee’s ranking, results, recommendations, and the timeline for future negotiations. The City Manager will ask City Council to authorize staff to commence contract negotiations for new solid waste services with top-ranked service provider(s).
