Man charged in death of PSL motorcycle driver had a long history of charges and arrests

Port St Lucie, Fl (treasurecoast.com)-Just before  8 am on Sunday morning 58-year-old Isabel (Sylvia) Borges was killed.

Christian Zachery White of Fort Pierce, attempted to pass a minivan in a no-passing zone. White collided head-on with the motorcycle.

Ms. Borges was riding on her Harley to meet friends for breakfast.  She was pronounced dead at the scene.

According to officials, White appeared “extremely” impaired.

White was charged with vehicular homicide, DUI manslaughter, and possession of MDMA.

White has a long history of charges and arrests.

 

Sylvia Borges was a mom and a grandmother on her way to breakfast with her friends.

An extremely impaired driver attempted to pass a minivan in a non-passing zone.

It’s senseless.

What can we do as a community to put an end to accidents like this?
