Kickoff with Treasure Coast High School Football.
Week 1 of the high school football season is underway. Treasure Coast used some big plays to get out in front of Okeechobee. Tyrec Thompson returned the opening kickoff 86-yards for a TD and Shamar Minnis had another 80-yard TD run in the 29-0 Treasure Coast win. Week 1 continues tonight. South Fork will host rival Jensen Beach, which you can hear live on WSTU. It’s also going to be Give Back Night at South Fork High School. A portion of the proceeds from tickets, parking, and concession will be donated to Molly’s House. On WPSL you’ll be able to hear Centennial hosting Westwood. Central is up at Disney taking on Delaware Valley out of Pennsylvania. Martin County hosts John Carroll, while Port St Lucie is on the road at Lake Placid. Pre-game coverage of the games tonight starts at 6:45, kickoff is scheduled for 7:00.
