Woman who rammed MCSO Deputies gets 600,000 bail.

The woman accused of ramming deputies in Martin County is being held on more than half-million dollars bond. She has to stay away from her children once she’s released from jail.

38-year old Erin Chabot appeared before a judge Thursday morning where a judge set her bond at $600,000.

The sheriff’s office said she got into a argument with her husband while dropping off one of her four children at Seawind Elementary. Deputies said Chabot rammed two patrol cars while driving away from school. After the second crash, she tried to run from her car when deputies arrested her.

The two deputies suffered non life-threatening injuries.

Chabot faces three counts of child abuse, two counts of aggravated battery on a law enforcement officer with a deadly weapon, fleeing police and resisting an officer without violence.
