Woman arrested for putting glass in food
A woman was arrested for allegedly putting glass in her own food at restaurants. Then she complain and get free food and gift cards.
Stuart police say 31-year old Kaitlyn Murphy turned herself in yesterday, and is now facing a charge of scheming to defraud. Police say she admitted to lying about the glass at 11 different restaurants, including the Boathouse, Fresh Catch, Carmela’s, and Outback Steakhouse. She was taken to the Martin County Jail.
