Vero Beach man arrested for exposing himself.
A Vero Beach man is accused of exposing himself in front of children.
The Indian River County Sheriff’s Office arrested 58-year-old Jose Luis Gonzalez Colon last Friday.
The arrest report does not indicate where the incident took place other than it involved a swimming area with benches. A woman told investigators Gonzalez Colon sat at a bench facing the water where kids were playing. She said the man had a towel on his lap and he exposed himself to the kids when he pulled the towel away. She also claimed he masturbated in front of the kids. The report claims that Gonzalez Colon told deputies he reached inside his pants because he had a beer in his underwear. He also said he didn’t speak English.
Deputies arrested Gonzalez Colon on charges of lewd and lascivious exhibition and exposure of sexual organs.
