Fundraiser To Support Orphanage with Food and Medical Supplies

Port Saint Lucie – March 1, 2022–With the ongoing crisis in Ukraine, Todd Toback, Port St. Lucie businessman and founder of Get It Done House Buyers Inc, has partnered with a Ukraine orphanage to host a fundraiser for children affected by the Russian/Ukraine war which has left thousands of the country’s residents in a vulnerable state.

The fundraiser will directly benefit orphans through Abundance International Inc., an American run organization based in Mykolaiv, Ukraine.

Founded by Mark Davis, Abundance International Inc. has been active in the European community for over 15 years as 501c recognized non-profit organization. Davis, who is currently in Ukraine, notes that the orphanage is in dire need of supplies, food, diapers, baby products, and other essential items as food and supplies run low for the 200 plus children under the orphanage’s care.

The fundraiser is already halfway through its goal of $500 thousand dollars, having raised over $290 thousand to date.

Todd Toback, Founder of Get It Done House Buyers reflected on the ongoing crisis and pledged his company’s support, “We are extremely saddened and moved by what is happening to families in Ukraine.” Commented Toback. “We are committed to helping children and orphans who have been affected by the Russian/Ukrainian war. Our aim is to ensure that any children who need the help will be able to get it.” Toback ended.

Recognizing the need to unify aid, Davis commented; “We want to expand this effort because it is not just the orphanage, but it is the entire country that needs the help.”

The saddening images of the conflict between Russia and Ukraine has led to galvanized efforts on a global scale to help families and children affected by the war. Several organizations have unified to offer support, and many others are hosting separate fundraisers.

Meanwhile, Mark assured donors that current sanctions placed on Russian banks will not affect their donations as funds are being collected through secure American-based banks.
