The investigation began when a police sergeant noticed that Zabriskie was driving a White Hyundai 4 door car traveling north on SW Tulip Boulevard with the passenger side headlight not working.  The sergeant stopped Zabriskie who pulled over in the 100 block of SW Paar Drive.  During police contact with Zabriskie, the sergeant learned that Zabriskie’s driver’s license was suspended.  The Sergeant also smelled a strong odor of raw marijuana coming from the car.

The sergeant subsequently searched the car and found a glass jar containing 16.4 grams of Marijuana, a grocery bag with numerous plastic baggies of various sizes used for packaging Marijuana for sale, a zip lock bag containing 72.5 grams of Marijuana, and over $1,000.00 in cash.

The drugs and money were seized as Zabriskie was arrested and taken to the St. Lucie County Jail for booking.
