Time running out for boar hog in Okeechobee

Okeechobee– Time is running out for the owner of a boar hog to claim the missing animal. It was found near NE 60th Court, according to the Okeechobee County Sheriff’s Office and is currently impounded at Okeechobee County Animal Control. The boar is described as gray, brown and white with black spots. The sheriff’s office says if the owner does not redeem it within a couple of days it will either be offered for adoption or disposed of humanely.

NOTICE OF IMPOUNDED LIVESTOCK BY OKEECHOBEE COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE ANIMAL CONTROL SERVICES

To Whom It May Concern:
You are hereby notified that the following described livestock;
1 Potbellied White Pig;1 Potbellied Black Pig;11 Chickens;1 Rooster;1 White Duck from NW 310th St is now impounded at Okeechobee County Animal Control. If the above livestock is not redeemed within 3 days from date hereof, it shall be offered for adoption or disposed of humanely.
