Stuart Police charge woman with four counts of attempted murder in hit-and-run

Stuart, Fl (treasurecoast.com)- The Stuart Police charged a  woman with four counts of attempted murder in hit-and-run On 02/22/2022.
The Stuart Police Officers responded to Fresh Market, 2300 SE Ocean Blvd in reference to a crash involving a vehicle and four pedestrians.
The vehicle that struck the pedestrians fled before officers could arrive. Sgt. Reddick was able to locate the vehicle and the driver was identified at Beatrice Bijoux, from Stuart.
Based on the investigation and interviews,  Detectives have reason to believe Bijoux intentionally struck the pedestrians at Fresh Market. The Police charged Bijoux with four counts of Attempted Murder.
One of the pedestrians was flown to Lawnwood Regional Medical Center for treatment. The other pedestrians struck sustained minor injuries and were not transported from the scene.
