FORT PIERCE – St. Lucie County’s Housing Division will host a presentation on tenants’ rights under the Fair Housing Act in partnership with the Legal Aid Society of Palm Beach County, on Tuesday, Jan. 24 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the Havert L. Fenn Center, 2000 Virginia Ave.

Anyone with questions about tenant rights under the Fair Housing Act, your rights under the Federal Housing Administration (FHA), COVID-related discrimination under the FHA or federal fair housing law is encouraged to attend. Reservations should be emailed by noon on Jan. 23 to [email protected].

Residents wishing to meet with representatives from the Legal Aid Society of Palm Beach County should bring all documents that may be important for review, including any court documents, notices from landlords, current lease agreement (if you have one), proof of payments, etc.
