Significant Heroin dealer arrests in Port St. Lucie

Port St. Lucie Police, DEA, and ATF agents arrest significant Heroin dealers in Port St. Lucie

On April 12, 2017, Port St. Lucie Police Special Investigations Division Detectives, DEA Agents, and ATF Agents served two search warrants. They arrested a 62 year old man on 4 counts sale of Heroin, possession of heroin with intent to sell, trafficking in Heroin, possession of weapon by convicted felon, possession of scheduled drug without prescription, possession of Marijuana under 20 grams, and possession of drug paraphernalia.  A 32 year old female was  arrested. She was charged with possession of controlled substance without prescription and possession of harmful new legend drug. A  34 year old female was arrested for possession of Heroin with intent to sell and possession of drug paraphernalia. A 50 year old man for 2 counts sale of Heroin, possession of Heroin with intent to sell, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

The arrests began on April 12, 2017 at 3:00 pm when Detectives with Port St. Lucie Police and DEA Agents conducted a traffic stop at SE West Snow Road and SE Bevil Avenue on a car driven by the 62 year old man. Police seized 284 Heroin filled capsules that weighed approximately 52.5 grams. Then following the traffic stop the Special Investigations Division, Neighborhood Policing Bureau, K-9 Unit, along with DEA and ATF Agents served search warrants in the 200 block of SW Dalton Circle and 2700 block of SW Somber Road.

The  police seized 4 handguns with ammunition, addition heroin and drug paraphernalia used for packaging and sale. On SW Dalton Circle police seized heroin, Clonazepam, and drug paraphernalia.

Subsequently, they were booked in the St Lucie County Jail.

The arrest of Valente and Fonte takes two significant dealers of heroin off the streets of Port St. Lucie. This is an ongoing investigation with more arrests expected.
