Representative from our area have flown to DC to plead for help for our toxic algae plagued river. They will be meeting with federal representatives from several different agencies to discuss the algae that is clogging the St Lucie and the Caloosahatchee River.

Congressman Patrick Murphy helped to organized and will be delivering bottles of St Lucie River Water to congressman throughout the capital.

Representative Alan Grayson is calling for an investigation regarding the opening of the the small business administration’s Disaster Loan Outreach Program. Instead of making our lives difficult he should come and go visit Central Marine. That is if he knows where Stuart  is. Shame for the day goes to Alan Grayson! So far Patrick has been with us every step of the way. He understands the water. Grayson doesn’t even know where we live.

Other River advocates will be heading to South Florida Water Management to plead for help.

You can participate live at Patrick’s page on Facebook.

Both these events will be brought to our Facebook Page at Treasurecoast.
