PSLPD Crisis Negotiation & SWAT Team are on scene attempting to de-escalate domestic disturbance
Port St. Lucie, Fl (treasurecoast.com)- The Port St. Lucie Police have reported that they are on scene of a domestic disturbance.
Here are the details:
PSLPD is on scene in the 1200-Blk of SW Wampler Ave in reference to a domestic disturbance. The victims were able to safely exit the home. The male suspect barricaded himself inside the residence and is armed.
The PSLPD Crisis Negotiation and SWAT Team are on scene attempting to de-escalate and peacefully resolve the situation. There is a heavy police presence on scene, please avoid the area.
Update
The SWAT Team breached the residence and the suspect was successfully taken into custody. Investigation is ongoing and criminal charges will be forthcoming.
