PSLPD Apprehends 4 Suspects for Rash of Overnight Burglaries after they Flee from Vehicle

Port St.Lucie, Fl (treasurecoast.com) – The PSLPD apprehended 4 Suspects for a rash of overnight burglaries after they flee from vehicle.
At approximately 3:24am this morning, PSLPD responded to the 2350-BLK of SE Charleston Dr in reference to a vehicle burglary that had just occurred. The caller advised the suspects were wearing masks and had fled the area in an SUV.
Officers immediately began responding to the area. While enroute, Sergeant Alves observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed that pulled into the Chevron Gas Station located at PSL Blvd/Veterans Memorial Pkwy. The 4 occupants of the vehicle immediately exited the vehicle and fled on foot towards the river.
Officer Krecic and K9 Jaxson arrived on scene and began tracking the suspects. After an extensive search, K9 Jaxson and Officers on scene located and apprehended 3 juvenile males (16, 16, and 15) and 1 adult male (20) that had fled from the vehicle.

During the investigation, it was learned that the 4 suspects had committed a rash of auto burglaries throughout the city during the overnight hours. CID Detectives are actively investigating the case and attempting to identify all the victims who had their vehicles burglarized. As of now, the suspects have been charged with 6 counts of burglary, 4 counts of theft, and resisting without violence. The 20 year old was also charged with 3 counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
