PSL Police seek woman in shooting deaths of two people in Port St. Lucie

Port St. Lucie, Fl- On June 24, 2019 at around 12:30 am, Port St. Lucie Police went to the Waterleaf Townhomes Apartments (1920 -95 SE Hillmoor Drive, Port St Lucie, FL). This is for reports of a shooting involving two fatalities. Initial information provided to police revealed the suspect (28-year-old, Hispanic female, Alyssa Marie Torres) is involved and fled the scene in a 2005 Toyota Rav4, Silver in color bearing a Florida Tag of KPD -T14. Alyssa Marie Torres is believed to be ARMED and DANGEROUS.

St. Lucie County Fire/Rescue responded to the scene and transported one victim to a nearby hospital for non-life-threatening medical treatment.

Police Detectives are currently on scene investigating the circumstances involving the shooting. Will update as additional information becomes available.

Responding media is requested to stage across the street from the Waterleaf Townhomes Apartments- 1920-95 SE Hillmoor Drive, Port St Lucie, FL.

Police are asking the public if they have any information /whereabouts of Alyssa Marie Torres or her vehicle (2005 Toyota Rav4), to contact the Port St. Lucie Police Department at (772) 871-5001 or Treasure Coast Crime Stoppers at 1-800-273-TIPS.
