PSL man arrested on multiple child pornography charges
Port St Lucie, Fl- On Wednesday, May 30, 2018, Port St. Lucie Police arrested 67 year old Stephen M Henderson on 18 counts of possession of child pornography and 18 counts of electronically transmission of child pornography.
In January, 2018, Port St. Lucie Police Detectives assigned to the South Florida Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force initiated an investigation based on a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children Cyber Tipline.
During the course of the investigation, Detectives learned that a an IP Address connected to Henderson was used to upload and transmit child pornography. A search warrant for Henderson’s residence was secured on May 24, 2018. Detectives executed the search warrant at Henderson’s home located in the 600 block of SE Harbor View Drive in Port St. Lucie.
Based on the evidence found during the search coupled with the previously obtained information, detectives arrested Henderson on 36 counts relating to child pornography. Henderson was taken to the St. Lucie County Jail for booking where he is currently being held on $135,000.00 bail.
