PSL to honor community members who make a difference Apply now for PSL’s NICE Neighborhood Awards Program 

Port St. Lucie – Do you know a family member, friend, neighbor, group, business or organization who helps to enhance the quality of life in Port St. Lucie? The City of Port St. Lucie Neighborhood Services is now accepting nominations for its Neighborhood Improvement and Community Engagement (NICE) Awards.

Port St. Lucie’s 3^rd Annual NICE Awards recognize individual residents, neighborhoods, or organizations committed to preserving, maintaining and improving the quality of life in PSL, making it a better place for everyone to call home. The City wants to recognize good deeds or services, with four award categories:

NICE Outstanding Neighbor of the Year

Recognizing exceptional neighborliness and individual contributions in our City’s neighborhoods.

NICE Outstanding Neighborhood of the Year

Recognizing exceptional involvement of dedicated neighborhood groups and organizations.

NICE Contributor of the Year

Recognizing remarkable and innovative contributions to our City’s neighborhoods.

NICE Community Involvement Award

Appreciating and inspiring outstanding people and organizations’ work in our City’s neighborhoods.

Residents, neighborhoods or organizations located within the City limits are encouraged to apply and highlight their efforts undertaken in 2022 to bring about positive change. The easy online NICE award application is open till 5 p.m. on Dec. 9, 2022. All the applications will be reviewed by a judging committee and winners will be announced in February 2023. The winners and their guests from the four categories will be invited to a reception followed by a special presentation at City Council Meeting where they will be recognized and presented with an award.
