Port St Lucie, FL- 29 year old Christoper Trout has been arrested for Felony Criminal Mischief to a Church/Synagogue/Mosque or Religious Article.

During the course of the investigation, detectives received information from the public (through Treasure Coast Crime Stoppers) that Trout is the person seen on the video smashing the cameras on the New Jerusalem Church of God building.

Detectives located Trout’s car and located the Ohio State T-Shirt along with the tire iron believed to have been used in the crime. Police later located Trout, who tried to change his appearance by shaving his beard. Trout was arrested and taken to the St. Lucie County Jail for booking.

PSLPD REQUESTS HELP TO ID VANDALISM SUSPECT

Port St. Lucie, FlPSLPD is asking the help from the public to identify a Vandalism Suspect.
On 5/7/18 at approximately 1403 hours, an unknown white male suspect was observed on video backing a blue older model Chevrolet (Possibly a Cobalt) into a parking spot. This was behind the New Jerusalem Church of God located at 1599 SE Port St. Lucie Blvd.

The suspect propped open the hood to the vehicle and proceeded towards the surveillance cameras with a tire iron. He vandalized two cameras. Estimated damage cost of $650.00.
