Port St. Lucie Police investigating armed robbery to an audio shop.
On December 4, 2016 at around 7:40 pm, Port St. Lucie Police went to the 1900 block of SW South Macedo Boulevard for reports of an armed robbery. The victim told police that he was at his shop when a man armed with a silver handgun and a second unarmed subject came into the shop. The victim told police that the first suspect put the gun to the victim’s head and demanded money. The suspects tied the victim’s hands together with wire. After the victim said that he did not have any money in the store, the unarmed suspect searched the store.
After a search of the store by the suspect was complete and no money was found, the robbers stole the victim’s wallet and IPhone and then fled the scene.
Port St. Lucie Police set up a perimeter then sought the assistance of St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office. St. Lucie County Sheriff sent a K-9 Officer and Air Unit. Police were unable to locate the suspects during a search of the area and the K-9 track led officers to the parking lot next to the victim’s shop where the track went cold. Police believe that the suspects had a get-away car waiting in the nearby parking lot.
Suspect 1 is described as a black male in his 20’s with a scarf around his face, blue hoodie, blue jeans and a silver handgun. Suspect 2 is described as a black male in his 20’s wearing a dark hoodie, light blue pants and red shirt under the hoodie. Both suspects were described as wearing knit gloves.
