Port St. Lucie police arrest 25-year-old motorcyclist in connection to murder

Port St. Lucie, Fl (treasurecoast.com) -The Port St. Lucie Police reported they have arrested a 25-year-old man accused of fatally shooting a 39-year-old man Sunday.

According to the Port St. Lucie Police Department, Elijah Inchauteguiz of Port St. Lucie has been arrested for the murder.

Update at 5:30pm- Detectives have diligently been investigating the incident throughout the day and have arrested the 25-year-old driver of the motorcycle, Elijah Inchauteguiz of Port St. Lucie, for fatally shooting the 39-year-old victim earlier this morning. The suspect has been taken to jail and charged with murder and fleeing and eluding.

At 2:02am, PSLPD responded to Harpers Pub in the 1700-BLK of SE Port St. Lucie Blvd reference a shooting. Officers located a deceased adult male with apparent gunshot wounds laying in the roadway on SE Greendon Ave behind Harpers Pub.
A motorcycle was observed fleeing the scene and was pursued into Martin County after refusing to stop for Officers. The driver was taken into custody on SW Citrus Blvd. Criminal Investigations Division Detectives and Crime Scene Investigators responded and the investigation is active and ongoing at this time.
