Motorcyclist hospitalized after crash in Port St. Lucie
Port St. Lucie, Fl (treasurecoast.com) -On December 10, 2020 at approximately 8:40pm, Port St Lucie Police Officers responded to US1/SE Port St Lucie Blvd in reference to a motor vehicle accident.
A preliminary investigation revealed a motorcycle traveling South on US1, struck a Chevrolet Equinox, that was turning from US1 to go West on SW Port St Lucie Blvd. It is believed the driver of the motorcycle ran the red light.
The driver of the motorcycle was taken to a local hospital with life threatening injuries. The driver of the Equinox did not report any injuries. Port St Lucie Police Traffic Homicide Investigators are on scene investigating.
