Mario’s Pizza delivered a suspect for Stuart Police
On 09/30/2016, Stuart Police responded to a residential burglary on Dyer Drive. The suspect entered the house and took a slice of pizza from a Mario’s Pizza box in the garage.  He then proceeded to the game room.  The suspect took two iPads, an Xbox One, and a bite from the slice of pizza.Detective Richard Serra swabbed the bite mark from the slice of pizza and sent the swab to the crime lab for DNA analysis. The lab identified the DNA from the pizza through a CODIS (Combined DNA Index System) match. The suspect was identified as Jamar Mackey of Stuart. Det. Serra secured an arrest warrant for Mackey. On 01/05/2017, Mackey was booked in the Martin County Jail and is being held with no bond.
