Man critically injured crossing I-95 in Hobe Sound.
A Palm Beach Gardens man was in critical condition after being hit by a car on I-95 in Hobe Sound yesterday morning. The incident happened at the scene of a crash near mile marker 96 in the southbound lanes of the highway. The Florida Highway Patrol says 36-year-old Samuel Goldstein hit the back end of another car. After spinning out, authorities said Goldstein got out of his car to check on the other driver. As he crossed the highway, a passing car hit him. The highway reopened after several hours.
