Hutchinson Island Fatal Crash Victims Identified

St. Lucie County, Fl- The four people who died in the fiery crash on Hutchinson Island have been identified.

 Florida Highway Patrol have been investigating the fiery  crash that left four people dead.

The crash happened on Hutchinson Island near the FPL St. Lucie Nuclear Power Plant around 8 p.m. Friday.

A 2017 Chevrolet Cruze was traveling south on SR-A1A at a high rate of speed and approaching the FPL Power Plant at the 6300 block.  There was one driver and three passengers. Alcohol related results are pending.

Andrea Peavy was driving a 2014 Ford F150.  She proceeded to make a right turn and then was struck in the rear by the Chevrolet.

The impact caused both vehicles to catch on fire.

Peavy end up on the west shoulder. The Chevrolet rotated in a clockwise motion across the center of the road and came to final rest facing east on the northbound lane.

The driver of the Chevrolet Cruze was Philip Joseph Royer, 35, of Stuart. The passengers were identified as Catherine Ann Schofffler , 37, of  Stuart, Sandra Jean Marie Burnham, 18, of Jacksonville, Florida and Ashlee Marie Gallant, 27, of Stuart.
