Helping Hands Helps Children Who Have Experienced A Crisis

The ladies of Helping Hands from the Lakewood Park United Methodist Church presented Sheriff Mascara with hand crafted teddy bears and pillow pals this week.
When deputies are called to the scene of a crisis where young children are present, teddy bears and pillow pals are given to the children as a way to lessen the impact of the situation and provide comfort.
