Martin County, Fl (treasurecoast.com)- Keoki Hilo Demich, the handyman charges with the murder of Cynthia Cole, has been charged with murder and could face the death penalty.

Court documents filed earlier this month show that state prosecutors will seek the death penalty against Demich who is  accused of killing a Jensen Beach woman and then hiding her body in a septic tank.

The body of Cynthia Cole, 57, was found on March 5 submerged in the septic tank — about 4 feet underground — after hours of excavation.

Investigators say a series of lies by handyman Keoki Demich led to his arrest for the murder of Cynthia Cole.
