Frankie June 16 Pet of the Week

Frankie June 16 Pet of the Week

Frankie is a boisterous 2 year old Labrador Retriever mix who came to The Humane Society of the Treasure Coast at the end of February as a stray.

Thanks to a day out of the shelter with an amazing volunteer family, we now know a bit more about how he is in a home environment.
It seems that Frankie may be at least partially house trained- no accidents were had! While Frankie can be a bit of a wild-child on walks here at the shelter, he had amazing manners on walks around the neighborhood. A few very loud noises he encountered on his adventure spooked him a little, but who isn’t scared of loud nail guns when you don’t know what a nail gun is?
Frankie is also dog selective here at the shelter but he was able to see multiple different dogs without any reaction. He is also extremely people friendly, smart, and curious. Extra bonus – his adoption has been sponsored!

If Frankie sounds like the perfect fit for your home, come visit him at the HSTC main shelter or view him online at hstc1.org.
