Ft. Pierce, Fl (treasurecoast.com) -The Fort Pierce Police are reporting that 3 people were injured in shooting on Avenue B on Friday.

According to the Police , officers responded to reports of a shooting on Avenue B.

They said it took place around 2:30 p.m. when someone in a dark-colored vehicle opened fire on individuals in a white Toyota on 32nd Street.

Three of the occupants of the Toyota were injured and taken to a local hospital for medical treatment.

Police say this is an active ongoing criminal investigation.
