FBI: ‘Shaky Bandit’ robbed Treasure Coast Banks.

Multiple banks were robbed yesterday on the Treasure Coast. Port St. Lucie Police say a bank robbery took place Monday afternoon at the Chase Bank in the 1200 block of Port St. Lucie Boulevard.

Later in the day an armed suspect robbed a Wells Fargo

 bank in Palm City. Last night, the FBI announced that they believe these robberies were committed by the “Shaky Bandit”, who shakes while committing the robberies.

The ‘shaky bandit’ began his crime spree last month and has hit seven other bank locations along the East Coast of Florida. If anyone has information as to the identity of this bank robber, they are urged to call the FBI or Treasure Coast Crimestoppers at 1-800-273-TIPS.
