DOZENS OF CATTLE ESCAPE FROM FENCED PASTURE, MCSO WORKS TO KEEP THEM OUT OF TRAFFIC

It was an escape of a different kind, but equally as intense.

The Martin County Sheriff’s Office responded to a loose farm animal call this morning, only to locate about 60-head of cattle roaming the area near Bridge Road and Suzanne Drive.

DOZENS OF CATTLE ESCAPE FROM FENCED PASTURE

It’s unclear how the animals got out, but deputies were worried the cows would begin walking into morning traffic.

The Martin County Sheriff’s Agricultural Unit was called in along with local ranchers to help safely move the cows back in to a fenced location. All have been accounted for.
