PORT ST. LUCIE – The Port St. Lucie Branch Library is offering a new monthly reading program for parents and children this fall. The Book Escape group meets on the first and third Saturday of the month at 10:30 a.m., starting Sept. 2.

Parents and students in grades 2nd through 6th are encouraged to join the library staff as they read aloud from selected books – a few chapters at a time.  The selected book for September and October is “Raymie Nightingale” by Kate DiCamillo.

Part of the St. Lucie County Library System, the Port St. Lucie Branch Library is located 180 Prima Vista Blvd. For additional information contact the Port St. Lucie library staff at 772-871-5450; email: bella@stlucieco.org or visit: http://library.stlucieco.gov.
