Cocoa Beach Pirate Festival Returns to International Palms Resort
COCOA BEACH, FLORIDA JUNE 2022 – The 11th Annual Cocoa Beach Pirate Festival returns to the International Palms Resort and Conference Center, June 10th through the 12th. The 500-room resort was previously scheduled to be torn down last year, but plans have changed, the property will now be renovated, and the annual Pirate Fest will continue.
The Cocoa Beach Pirate Festival is a free, family-friendly event geared up for scallywags both young and old and will feature live music from Keith Anthony Barbrie, For Love or Money, Skylar Green, and Lilly of the Valley performing near the beach on Mambo’s Stage during the weekend and performing upstairs inside the Manatee Ballroom, on both Saturday and Sunday, will be The Bawdy Boys, and Rusty Cutlass.

Get ready to shop and explore the various arts and crafts, and pirate themed vendors throughout the festival located both indoors and outdoors.
Cool off inside the air-conditioned Dolphin Room, where you can browse the indoor vendors and meet World Famous Treasure Hunter, Carl Fismer, and Pirate Authors, Robert Jacob, and Patrick Mesmer. Each of these special guests will be doing presentations upstairs in the Heron Room on Saturday and Sunday, please see event schedule for times.

Little Pirates can stop by the “Pirate University” and learn firsthand from the Governess, how to become proper pirates. Keep your cameras ready, because if you are lucky, you can even meet a real mermaid as beautiful Mermaid Pearla can be found at times near the Pirate Ship Pool saying hello to all the young children. Featured piratical fun for the little pirates includes a Treasure Hunt on Saturday, and Water Cannon Battles with hundreds of cannonball water balloons in a 150,000-gallon Pirate themed kiddie pool both Saturday and Sunday.
New to the festival this year is the Pirate’s Quest game, presented by the Royal Chessmen where patrons go on an interactive hunt to find wanted pirates. Little Pirates should stop by the Scarlett Fortuna’s Bookaneer Tent which is designed to provide FREE books to children much like a community library. Children are encouraged to take a book home, swap out books for new ones, or donate gently used books for the next child to enjoy! Books range from just learning, to young adult novels! One book per child while supplies last.
