What: The Port St. Lucie Community Redevelopment Agency, along with its planning consultant Kimley-Horn, are in the process of developing a Small Area Plan for City Center. The City would like to hear from residents and community members about their vision for City Center.
When: Tuesday, November 17, 2020 from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Where: This virtual public information meeting will be presented on Zoom. Registration is required at: https://www.cityofpsl.com/Home/Components/Calendar/Event/9565/. If using a mobile device, the free ZOOM app will be required to attend (the app can be found in the Android or Apple store). Questions and comments may be submitted to the project team during the meeting via the online chat. If you require accommodations in order to attend (including assistance with a computer or internet access), you are encouraged to contact the City’s Communications Department at 772-871-5219.Why: City Center is a 46-acre property anchored by the city-owned MIDFLORIDA Credit Union Event Center and includes an outdoor stage, 800-space parking garage, and a waterfront trail with paved bicycle/pedestrian paths. The development of the Small Area Plan represents an effort by the City to develop an updated vision for City Center. The City is seeking input through a survey and a public information meeting to identify the type of development and investment that residents and visitors would like to see at City Center. Small area planning provides local stakeholders with a chance to contribute to the development of plan recommendations. The survey can be accessed at: https://portstluciecitycenter.metroquest.com/.
