Alexander: HSTC Pet of the Week!
Alex, also known as the office manager/greeter around Thrift North, came to us some time ago as a guardian surrender when his owner could no longer afford to care for him.
Eventually, he found himself a home but he was brought back to us a few months later with some moderate weight loss and evidence of psychogenic alopecia (stress grooming), which we could see by the loss of fur in his belly, legs and tail.
Alex has been making a strong come-back here at Thrift North, and with the love and dedication from his outstanding volunteer family, he is putting on weight and his fur is growing back healthy and shiny!
Alex is finally ready to jump back into the game and desperately wants his fur-ever home.
This handsome, resilient boy is 8 years young so his adoption fee is WAIVED!! We believe that Alex would be best suited for a quiet home where he can be your only furry companion, and receive an endless supply of affection! His favorite hobbies include watching lizards out the window, playing “tag” with his favorite companions, and being as close to his humans as possible.
If you’re interested in meeting Alexander and some of his buddies, stop by Thrift North at 1099 NW 21st St, Stuart FL.
