1. December 7th 5:30
Curt Whiticar: 106 Years of Life and Art
Downtown Stuart

?Donation suggested?

Local legend Curt Whiticar was a successful businessman, early conservationist, and accomplished fine artist who will be featured for an art gallery opening at Molly’s House, a local hospitality house in downtown stuart. This will be the first time Mr. Whiticars art will be displayed locally since his passing March earlier this year in a special show curated by his children.

2. December 9th
Downtown Toy Drive Block Party
Downtown Fort Pierce

? Admission with donation of a new and unwrapped toy, which will be given to local disadvantaged children in Saint Lucie County. ?

Live entertainment by local Artists, Dancers, and musicians. We will have food vendors, face painting and interactive kids activities from 12-6pm!

3. December 10th 1-3pm
House of Refuge open house
Hutchinson Island

? Free Admission ?

You are invited to our 8th annual House of Refuge open house! Admission is free for this event, so if you haven’t been to this historical landmark yet it’s the perfect time to visit! Parking is limited, please consider leaving your car in the Elliott Museum parking lot and carpooling over.

Toys for Tots Ugly Sweater Party & Costume Contest
Port Salerno

Ugly Sweater Party and Costume Contest benefiting The Toys for Tots! Kids contest @7pm for participants 12 and under. 3 categories for adults: 1-Funniest, 2-Most Creative, 3-Best Couple. The winners compete for the overall winner of the adult contest at 9:00pm. drink specials for all of the adult participants. All Bottles of wine are 50% Off and Kids Eat Free, one free kid’s meal with every adult entree purchased!

5. December 14th 5:30-7:30pm
Celebrate the Art of the Bahamas!
Hutchinson Island

Get a first look at this fascinating exhibition that will feature work by Bahamian artists as well as local artists who painted the Bahamas. Admission includes entire Museum plus cash bar and munchies.

Christmas Wonderland Holiday Spectacular
Fort Pierce

Quite simply one of the most delightful and enchanting Christmas shows ever, featuring glittering costumes, a dazzling cast and the highest kicking chorus girls this side of the North Pole! A Christmas must while on the Treasure Coast.

9. Various Nights through December 30th
Heathcote Garden of Lights
Fort Pierce

?$8 for non-members, $5 for members, $3 children 6-12, Free for children under 6. ?

A walk through Heathcote’s five acres of Gardens illuminated with thousands of lights handcrafted into colorful seasonal and whimsical garden displays. Refreshments, S’mores, music by the Marionette Flute Choir and a special appearance from Santa and Mrs. Claus! Stroller, wheelchair and dog friendly.

10. December 31
The 3rd Annual Vero Beach Ball
Vero Beach

? General admission is free. ?

Fun for the whole family, there will be games, fireworks, music, great food and lots of entertainment on a big 40ft stage, lots of parking is available. Taking place in a grassy area at the north-side of the mall. Bring cash to convert into food and game tickets and don’t forget your blankets and lawn chairs so you will be comfy on the grass as you rock out to the biggest hits from the hippie age of rock and roll!

Bring the kiddies early (5 to 7 pm) to listen to Peter Paul and Mary sung by some of our young elementary performers, and then the best singers on the Treasure Coast will blow you away with music from the psychedelic era form 7 to 9 pm. And finally, be prepared to rock out with our Beatles Tribute Band, before the big ball drop and fireworks at midnight!

Dress in your best 60’s outfits, visit a booth to get flowers in your hair, (or painted on your face) and join in the fun! A VIP tent with catered food, VIP parking and butler style service is available.
