Police investigating auto burglary spree in Port St. Lucie neighborhood.

Port St. Lucie Police is investigating 5 reported car burglaries that occurred within a 500 foot radius in the River Place community.  Reports taken from victims indicate that the burglaries occurred from the evening hours of Saturday, June 25, 2016 to the morning of Sunday, June 26, 2016.  In all cases the cars were unlocked and the suspect(s) rummaged through the cars.  The only thing taken was a garage door opener from one of the cars.  All 5 cars burglarized took place in the 600 block of NE Muskrat Run.

Port St. Lucie Police Department is reminding citizens to remove all valuables from their cars and lock their car doors.
