Meditation For Quiet Mind and Happy Heart

Stress and anger are bad for the body. They cause constriction of muscles, restriction of breathing, oxygen deprivation, foggy headedness, worry, anxiety, and pain. Quieting the mind is one of the best ways to shut out the noise of internal chatter that results from too much worry, stress, and obsessing over things that make you angry. From quiet breath you can relax the mind. With a relaxed mind and quiet breath you can send feelings of joy to the heart. With this, you will find peace.

In today’s video, body-mind-spirit trainer Datu Shishir Inocalla will teach you the “Quiet Mind, Happy Heart” meditation.

It is a powerful transformation to have a quiet mind and a happy heart. The tool to accomplish this is the very special meditation exercise taught in this article.

Quiet mind

A noisy mind with uncontrolled inner-chatter wastes energy, makes it difficult to focus and leaves one scattered. There is an old saying: “The mind is like a monkey that’s been stung by a bee.” In other words, it is always on the move, erratic, changing directions and opinions. It must be calmed, quieted, still.

The most important part of quiet mind meditation is to quiet the breath. Almost no physical movement should be visibly outwardly. One should only feel the breath. The feeling of the quietness in the breath will be the catalyst to quiet the mind.

Let the brain feel the quietness from the breath on inhalation. The more relaxed you are in your body, the more control you have over your breathing.

From the brain/mind settle the energy down the entire body.

Take a deep breath. No movement. Just inhale through your nose. Feel the energy going to your brain. Let your brain feel the freshness of the energy you have just brought in through your breath.

Do not worry about time and just allow the energy to move through your body. Relax every area that is tight. Now exhale out all the stale and blocked energy that is holding your body tight.

In this particular stage you will feel calm and relaxed. Letting go of tension in your body, by breathing slowly and quietly, is the first step to quieting the mind.

You want to feel the stress release and continuously stay in the quiet mind.

Happy heart

Happy heart is a powerful catalyst for wellness and alive feelings.

Happy means you are happy, elevated in spirit. With happiness you can smile. That is energy you want to direct to your heart. Your heart is the center of your feelings and so happy heart means happy feelings.

That feeling of joy in your heart will take your positive energy to every part of your body.

This is the fastest way you will be able to relax your internal system. Your true self lives within your inner heart.

Putting it together

First you sit and relax a bit and breathe steadily in and out. Make sure your breath is quiet and the body is not moving too much.

From here, practice the quiet breath meditation method described above and shown in the video.

Next, smile into your heart. When you feel the joy in the heart, stay there.

As you feel joy in your inner heart, practice gratitude. Be grateful for all the things in your life. Be grateful to just be in this new joyous space and let this love grow into your heart.

Your new quiet mind and happy heart will transform your stress, anger, anxiety, and low energy into a new vibrant and alive person.
