Martin County, Fl (treasurecoast.com)- The Martin County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help to identify the man found deceased in the waterway along Sewall’s Point. The MCSO Marine Unit recovered the body just after 5pm last night in the mangroves near the 100 block of North Sewall’s Point Road. It appears the victim may have been in the water for up to one week. Due to the state of decomposition, it is difficult to immediately identify the victim, so detectives are asking for the public’s help.

The victim is a white male, between the age of 30 and 60 years of age, is approximately 5’11” tall, and weighs 144lbs. He has a white stubble beard. The man was wearing khaki knee length pants, a grey long sleeve shirt with a white compression shirt underneath. That compression shirt has a blue striped design.
It appears that he was possibly a heavy smoker, and may have suffered from symptoms of heart disease.
