Lake Okeechobee Water Releases

According the to Rivers Coalition Facebook page, the releases of water from Lake Okeechobee into the Saint Lucie River have started again as of yesterday morning, September 17th.

With all the rain we are having, the Army Corps of Engineers are releasing at 1100 cubic feet per second. That is 750 million gallons per day.
