Woman tries to gain access to Rep. Brian Mast’s home under false pretenses

Palm City, Fl (treasurecoast.com) — Congressman Brian Mast said a woman tried to get into his home by lying to his wife.
According to a Facebook video the congressman posted on Friday, the woman broke through the gate of his family’s Florida home in Palm City while he was in Washington, D.C. She approached the front door of the house and knocked on the door and told Mast’s wife that she was an ABC News reporter and then tried to gain access to the house.
The St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office says there is an ongoing investigation, but due to it being an active investigation, the department could not provide any details.
