Woman found fatally shot at Port St Lucie home
Port St. Lucie, Fl (treasurecoast.com) A woman was found fatally shot at her home in Port St. Lucie.
PSLPD is on scene in the 11200 Blk of SW Stockton Pl investigating the death of an adult female.
At 11:39 am this morning, the Port St. Lucie Police Department responded to the 11200 Blk of SW Stockton Pl in reference to a welfare check. Upon arrival, Officers located a shattered rear slider in the back patio.
Officers made entry into the house and located a deceased adult female with an apparent gunshot wound in a bedroom.
No other occupants were located inside the house. Out of an abundance of caution, the SLCSO Bomb Squad was contacted and is on scene due to an unknown liquid substance found in bottles on the back patio.
The Port St. Lucie Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Division is on scene and handling the death investigation. At this time the scene is secured and there is no immediate threat to the community.
