Woman arrested for embezzling 215,000 from local business.
SLCSO detectives arrested Port St. Lucie resident Tiffany Lynn Ghent, 33, for embezzling more than $215,000 from Southern Truss Company. Ghent was the company’s office manager and between December 2014 and July 2015, systematically diverted company funds from the payroll account into her personal bank account as well as used the company’s debit card to make personal purchases and ATM withdrawals.
Ghent was booked into the St. Lucie County Jail and held on $150,000 bond.
