St Lucie County, Fl (treasurecoast.com)-St. Lucie County Utilities will be shutting off water for residents in Fort Pierce Shores (North Hutchinson Island) on Wednesday, Dec. 18 between 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. to replace a fire hydrant and valve in the area. The temporary shutoff will impact all customers on North Ocean Drive, Tamarind Drive, Flamingo Drive, 2430 Moorings Lane and 2302 Atlantic Beach Bvld. Once water has been restored, a precautionary boil water notice will be issued for those impacted residents. Water used for drinking or cooking should be boiled. A rolling boil of one minute is sufficient. Bottle water may be used as an alternative. For questions call St. Lucie County Utilities at 772-462-1150.
