Waste Pro asks for patience as they get caught up after Dorian
Waste Pro is asking for patience in St Lucie County as they work to get caught up on trash and recycling pickups. Because they missed Monday through Wednesday of last week due to Labor Day and Hurricane Dorian, they’ve been collecting nearly double the normal amount of trash and recycling every day. Waste Pro planned to be caught up on all of their routes as of the end of the day yesterday, but if Monday is your regular trash day and it was not collected, then put it back out on the curb this morning and it should be collected today. Also expect delays on the collection of any yard waste. Waste Pro workers dedicated to yard waste pick up have been utilized for regular collection until they are all caught up.
