Walton Road Closure Sept. 29 – Oct. 13
ST LUCIE COUNTY (Treasurecoast.com) -Walton Road will be closed to all through traffic between S.E. Green River Parkway and Indian River Drive beginning Wednesday, Sept. 29 through Wednesday, Oct. 13. This closure will be in place in order for the railroad crossing to be reconstructed.
During this time, motorists heading east on Walton Road should detour south on S.E. Green River Parkway, east on N.W. Jensen Beach Boulevard & north on Indian River Drive. Motorists heading west on Walton Road should detour south on Indian River Drive, west on N.W. Jensen Beach Boulevard & north on S.E. Green River Parkway.
Motorists in the area should follow directional signage to access properties affected by this closure.
