Veteran’s Day 2017
Tomorrow is Veteran’s Day, but many locations will be observing the holiday today. St Lucie County offices are closed today, while the libraries will be closed tomorrow. In Stuart, the Veterans Day Parade will be Saturday morning at 10am. In Port St Lucie, the city will hold their Veterans Day Service at Veterans Memorial Park Saturday morning at 11am. The event features a 21-gun salute, speeches by dignitaries, color guard units from local high schools, and live music. In Fort Pierce, the American Legion Post 40 will be hosting a Veterans Day Ceremony at Veterans Memorial Park on Indian River Drive. The free event is open to the public and starts at 11am.
